The New Zealand born Trygve (pronounced Trig-vee) is a physical comedy performer who studied at Ecole Philippe Gaulier, the prestigious Paris clown school with alumni including Sasha Baron-Cohen and Emma Thompson. Wakenshaw’s unique style combines mime, physical theatre and cheeky idiocy – he is mad, risqué and uniquely eccentric. The critically acclaimed, award-winning clown presents his beautifully strange stream-of-consciousness idiocy in three different shows. His hilarious and fun hit physical comedies KRAKEN, SQUIDBOY and NAUTILUS have been and are consistently a sell out at festivals around the world.
