Bellow tells the extraordinary real-life story of Danny O’Mahony, one of Ireland’s foremost accordionists—a man devoted to traditional Irish music and the relentless pursuit of artistic mastery.

What unfolds is an intimate and deeply personal journey through memory, music, and meaning, as Danny revisits key moments from his life: childhood discovery, guiding mentors, and the all-consuming dedication to his craft.

Featuring Danny’s sublime live playing, Bellow blends original electronic composition by Valgeir Sigurðsson, new writing, and contemporary dance – evoking the tension between past and present in a uniquely powerful theatrical experience.
