Thaddeus Phillips is a theater artist, director, actor and designer who most recently created Disney’s new musical, THE MAGIC BOX, currently on World Tour. He has appeared in films such as ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ for Sony Pictures and ‘Narcos’ for Netflix. He has been commissioned to create original theater works for: New York Theatre Workshop (Off-Broadway) BAM NEXT WAVE FESTIVAL (New York) The Barrow Street Theatre (Off-Broadway), Teatro La Abadia (Madrid) Teatri (Sweden) the Disney Theatrical Group (World Wide).

HIs creations creations often juxtapose the everyday with the extraordinary. An imaginative storyteller, Phillips says he views theater as a “liquid art form” and “the stage as a transformational space.” His work has been presented internationally at numerous venues and festivals, including the BAM Next Wave Festival, New York Theatre Workshop, the Perth International Arts Festival, and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
