Familie Flöz

Splendid and immensely skillful character comedy. The Guardian

No words! Just applause! Three Weeks

A creation of great poetic power. El Mundo

Mask theatre masters, Familie Flöz, return to Edinburgh with another silent comedy classic following the hugely popular Teatro Delusio and Ristorante Immortale at Aurora Nova in 2004.

The heavenly name and Alpine spa location of Hotel Paradiso promise a relaxing get-away-from-it-all type holiday. Four stars adorn the entrance but dark clouds are gathering on the horizon. All is not as it should be in the quaint family-run hotel in the middle of nowhere where atrocities abound and nobody is safe. Watch Alpine dream turn to nightmare as the squabbling staff struggle to keep their secrets hidden, the business alive and the corpses out of sight!

Berlin based Familie Flöz is internationally renowned as one of the world’s leading mask theatre companies. Using over 25 masks, Hotel Paradiso is filled with guests from around the world. Touring worldwide with its inimitable brand of visual comedy and repertoire of hit shows Familie Flöz has captured the hearts of young and old alike.
